BlackBerry Memory Optimizer

November 3rd, 2008

Does your BlackBerry seem to be running slower then normal?
Does your applications on your BlackBerry seem to crash regularly when in use?

For those of us who are heavy users that “overwork” our BlackBerry devices, you might be interested an  applications that we discovered just a few weeks back.  The application is called Memoryup – Ram Booster. It’s an application that allows you to get the most of your BlackBerry – emobistudio the owners of the application calls ” memory optimization”. The BlackBerry is a VERY stable mobile device without a question but like any device or electronic component there is a chance of memory issues occuring.

We like the fact the application is configurable and allows you the user to control the application.  After  installing the application about a week ago on my BlackBerry 8820 seems to be ticking right away.  The ability to open applications and programs on my BlackBerry seem to open faster. As a stress test we even used it against Shark Modem which is a heavy memory taxer, it seemed to work well even after 15 minutues of usage. Well instead of listening to our testimony  go over and give it a try (ota download)

Note:  We will testing this application during the next 2 weeks and will report more information as we find it.

Advantages: Ease of use and very user-friendly

Disavantages: We haven’t discovered any yet : )

Whrrl For BlackBerry

Whrrl for BlackBerry
Where are you?  It’s Friday night  and ALL of your friends are looking for you to hang out.  Your friends don’t have to look that far now  because there’s another solution besides GPSed.  It’s called Whrrl  (pronounced like whirl)  It’s an application (social site) that allows you to track your friends and family wherever they be on the planet.

So we went over and signed up and it looked pretty neat.  It allows you locate your friends, receive notifications of friends in the immediate area…etc. Also it allows you to locate/rate stores, restaurants to your likings and see how others rate these locations as well.   We will report back once we collect more data in regards to the application. In the meantime go ahead over and check out the site.
