We just got an interesting email that came through our inbox from our Presidio Matrix Corp executive that we interviewed a few days back about why he carries both an iPhone and a BlackBerry device.

We aren?t too sure if possibly he woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning or if he just has the proverbial ?thorn in his posterior?, but he seems to have gone off on a little rant about Research In Motion, even stating that their name is very appropriate.
Here is the email:

Okay, so I just got done viewing the webinar presentation for the new BlackBerry 4.1 Service Pack 5 Enterprise Server.

The information has been out for a good while now on what all it will include, but I figured I would log in anyways to see if any new information would be included.

HTML Email: Great
Free/Busy Lookup: Great
New Admin Features: Great

To the naked eye, it would appear that on the 29th when this new Service Pack is rolled out, it will be the monster to deal with.

Except for one thing. (more…)

Are you getting email on your BlackBerry right now? It’s been reported that T-Mobile, Verizon, , AT&T, Nextel, and Sprint users have been affected. This has been twice in less than one week. Now for those I.T geeks it’s possible right, for servers and equipment to go down from time to time. If systems didn’t go down, face it majority of us wouldn’t have jobs today. But on the other hand, in order for us to keep our jobs we have to have reliable services. It’s a two-hand fold situation. For all you BlackBerry users - don’t give up on RIM just yet. Recently we listened to the podcast by BlackBerry Guru Simon from BlackBerry Cool who did an interview with one Rim’s specialist who talked about the RIM outage.

For all those interested, we’re going to keep an official log of RIM outages starting from this post today.

Good day to everyone and keep the BlackBerry hope alive !!!

However, at times there’s a need to take apart these high tech devices because of either curiosity or an actual problem. For some of us taking apart BlackBerries isn’t anything new.
